Product Description
S60C steel is a medium-to-high carbon grade. It is chosen for applications that need greater strength and wear resistance than S50C. Heat treatment is required to achieve the key S60C properties, such as very high hardness. However, this also makes the it more difficult to machine and weld. Its hardenability is limited, so it is best suited for small to medium-sized components.
S60C material is commonly used to manufacture parts like springs, and office equipment parts.
